Giving Helping Hands not another Handout.
BACKGROUND
In Bangladesh, almost every year during monsoon season flood causes loss of precious lives and properties including crops and infrastructure. Torrential rains and flood which is continued from July 2007 has affected millions of people in Bangladesh.
According to estimates about ten million people have been affected in 39 districts of Bangladesh. Due to the recent severe flooding houses, schools, hospitals, roads and civil society infrastructure has been badly destroyed. Flood badly damaged the production of agriculture crops and thousands of hectors of land have gone under flood water. Hundreds of thousands of people have been made homeless and hundreds of villages are submerged. People of Bangladesh are facing the health problems because there is epidemic of diarrhea, fever and skin problems. About 900 people have been died due to flood in Bangladesh. In some of the villages water is as deep as ten feet and people are struggling to survive with the very little access to basic necessities of life such as clean water, food and shelter.
There is an urgent need to provide these families food, shelter, health care and other necessities of the life. Millions of the poor people of Bangladesh have lost their homes, agriculture crops and livelihood and they are waiting for help and support. We can provide them support and help them to rebuild their lives.
Helping Hands always extends its support, assistance and affection to the needy, deserving and affected people of the world. Organization always reaches to help the suffered humanity without discrimination of religion, boundaries, language and codes.
Helping Hands is working in Bangladesh to provide support to flood affected people. We will also focus on health and hygiene, water and sanitation projects and provision of shelters to the victims of recent flood.

Helping Hands is providing support for 2500 families in five worst flood affected districts of Bangladesh. Organization is providing food items to the affected people of the affected districts.
Hundreds of thousands of people are homeless and are even without basic necessities of the life.
We are trying to provide every possible support to these children, men and women so that they can come back to their normal lives. Whenever and wherever, humanity is in crisis whether it is natural disaster or economic and financial crisis, Helping Hands always tries to perform its due role using its available resources.

Every child, young and old gives respect and honor to those who are with them to share their sorrowful moments of life. When we spent time with these people, we came to know that our presence over there is very much important for them and this gives them courage to regain their strength to rebuild their lives.
We are struggling to support these people because we believe that our immediate and timely response will encourage the affected people and provide life saving assistance to them required to return normalcy and start rebuilding their communities.
Helping Hands efforts are going on in flood affected areas of Bangladesh. These people need effective and strong financial support to take them out from this worst condition. These helpless people need food, medical care and shelter and clean water.

These people are very grateful to Helping Hands Worldwide for providing them support in this hard and tough time. These people say that they have lost every thing and now waiting for help from those who are in good position, living in their own homes and having their own possessions.
We made them feel that they are not alone in this catastrophe, we are with them and will work with them shoulder by shoulder to restore their normalcy and happiness of life.
It is our moral duty to provide support to these people because this time they are in difficult and bad condition. Our little support can help them a lot.
Helping Hands also plans to expand its activities to other districts of Bangladesh. We need to pay attention towards these people on individual as well as on collective basis.

Bangladesh flood affected people are facing hard and tough condition. We need more take practical steps to help out these people. It is not enough which we have done so far, we have to rebuild these people to restore their normalcy and happiness of life. We need more resources and efforts to provide food, shelter, clean water and health care to the flood affected people of Bangladesh.
