The gift of sight is one of the most precious blessings of Allah. To be deprived
of is a test and an opportunity from Allah to those who have a heart to change things.
To give a child a sight to see his parents or parents to see their child and the
family to see the whole world.
Cheer them, delight them, please them and the Almighty (Allah) will be pleased with
you.
Up to 80% of blindness and serious visual loss is avoidable if treated effectively.
In a developing and over-populated countries, the state often does not have adequate
resources to provide for all the health needs of the community - including eye care.
Our third project was to bear the cost and provide free of cost eye treatment by
way of, but not limited to, eye operation. The main cause of blindness is cataract,
which is reversible and which accounts for about 66% of blindness in Pakistan. Helping
Hands have been working in Pakistan since 2002 and our aim is to promote comprehensive
eye services; making them available, accessible, affordable, acceptable and sustainable
for the poor and under served communities. We work with local partners in Pakistan.
We support work in the four vision 2020 areas which have been prioritized in Pakistan;
cataract, childhood blindness, trachoma and refractive errors & low vision.
We also support training at primary level and for mid-level ophthalmic paramedics.
Free eye operation campaign was successfully at S.B National Inter College, Baskhari U.P India on 22-7-2006 and 23-7-2006.
The camp and the entire free eye operation was sponsored and supported by the Helping Hands Worldwide. It was managed and controlled by the management team of Helping hands India.

Let’s Make this World More Beautiful and Happy
Helping poor, needy and disabled is the real purpose and happiness of the life. Majority of the needy and helpless people of the world are waiting for the help and support from those who are financially in a strong position. Our little contribution can send back these helpless and poor people to the way of happiness and prosperity.
Making others happy is said as a Sadaqah by the Holy Prophet Peace be upon Him. If we cannot support financially to any one, smile in his face is known as Sadaqah by the Holy Prophet Peace be upon Him.
If an act of smiling is sadaqah for us, then we cannot estimate and guess the reward of helping and supporting needy and helpless in the hour of need.
Let’s to be committed that we will contribute in the process of making needy and un-privileged people happy and satisfied. By doing so this world will become more gorgeous and magnificent for all of us. May Almighty Allah give us the courage and divine help to make this world more beautiful and glorious.
