Family Rashan Scheme
Families in rural areas of Pakistan have been going hungry – either because food is not available, or because they cannot afford it.
We know that it will take much more than few months to get Pakistans most devastated areas affected by Earthquake and recent floods to a stage where it can adequately support the poor and the needy – providing the jobs they need to take care of their families. We know that even before the earthquake and Flood, these families struggled with food security. And we know that this situation must change.
With support from your donations Helping Hands Worldwide took the first step to address the dire situation. Families in these areas, who were left with somthing, have generously taken in thousands of people after the earthquake and flood - adding more mouths to feed when they already struggled.
Your generous donation to Family Ration Project allowed us to provide emergency food aid to families in need – and to support local economies by purchasing the food from nearby markets and vendors.
This Family Ration Project is a key element of Helping Hands Worldwide’ efforts in these devastated regions hit hard by the earthquake ad recent floods all over Pakistan.
